Of the Body and Soul

The body that you love
Is a vessel that the spirit once loved
A long time ago.

They wandered regretfully
In the abyss,
Leaving astral traces in your dreams.

It yearns—yearns
For the warmth of the vessel
You’re to;
To reincarnate—

The flesh and blood
Were also once an essence of magic power.

You can either be raised as a transcendental being
In Nirvana;
Bloom like the lotus
Guarding the epiphany of birth-reborn cycle
Or remain a selfless spirit—
Senseless suffering to embrace
The body from
Behind.
